Problems With Plastic

The ocean is a wonderful place but every year 8 million tons of plastic is being dumped into the ocean. There are also 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic debris in the ocean.

Which Animals Hurt

Over 1 million marine creatures,birds and other animals die each year from plastic and trash. Marine animals are most often the victims of plastic so that includes Turtles,Dolphins,Fish,Sharks and crocodiles.  

Sea Turtles

Did you know there are 7 species of sea turtles in the world.We are also killing an estimated 4,600 turtles every year because of fishers.

Dophins

Dolphins are important to the environment because they are able to be good natural indicators of the environment health. As they are high predators and they eat several species of fish and squid that usually contaminates the ocean.If there is plastic in dolphins food chain there are also plastic in our food chain.

Seals

Did you know mother seals tell which seal pup is there seal pup by the seal pups sent so if the seal pup has oil on its fur its mother can't find it and the seal pup would be all alone. There are 35 species of seals in the whole world.

Seabirds

Did you know 1 million seabirds die from eating or getting caught in plastic each year. There has also been 276 bits of plastic in 1 90 day old chick.

Our Ocean

Our ocean may only look like a huge patch of water but it is more than that is one of the essentials we use to survive. The ocean is also where dolphins, sharks,turtles and much more.

Conclusion  - How People Can Help?

The ocean is the future of your kids. We need to do something today. A little change can change your kids future. Help the ocean today by banning plastic in the whole world. The world can be a better place if we make little changes.The ocean is the past and the future.

Stopping pollution is the best solution!

The earth does not belong to us we belong to the earth!

Mega Air Fun

Mega Air Fun!

One warmish sunny Sunday I woke up as excited as a cute little puppy prancing through a patch of bright green grass.

It was the day of one of my best friend Hayley HB’s 10th birthday. Hayley’s birthday was at Mega Air. Mega Air is a trampolining place. I got ready in a rush because I was way to excited. It felt like 250 years before mum and I left for Mega Air. When we arrived I saw Miriana and Chloe T were at the window inside Mega Air waiting for the rest of Hayleys guests to arrive at Mega Air.

When I excitedly entered the building we had to wait for the last guest to arrive. When the last guest arrived we raced to the video room to watch the safety video which played for about 2 minutes. After the video we were allowed to go into the trampolining room. My favorite thing to do there is the dodge ball on the trampolines.

It was an amazing day and I would go back to Mega Air any day.
